Mission Statement

Utility Asset Buyers, LLC (UAB), UAB is a small, majority minority owned business that provides sample solutions to complex problems. UAB was formed to provide Asset Recovery Service to the Electrical Power Industry. The owner has over 30 plus years of experience serving the Power Industry. Our Core Principles are: Honesty, Integrity, Morality, Environmental Preservation and Employee Safety.

The Electrical Power Industry as we once knew it has changed, with the new emission requirements and the rise of low cost generation these has permanently changed the power industry’s landscape forever. Despite this period of uncertainty and volatility the long-‐term fundamental for the power industry remains a strong force. Plant construction is on the rise and plant decommissioning is at its peck. Never before have there been a greater need for the expertise and services you see at UAB. UAB specializes in end of life Asset Recovery and Metal Management Services for electrical power equipment, transmission and distribution equipment and related scrap materials. We work closely with Utilities, Coops, Independent Producers, Cities, Towns, MRO Suppliers, OEM, Recycling Companies and Scrap Brokers to add value to your surplus, end of life equipment and spare parts.

Our mission is to provide services that will maximize the recovery value of surplus, obsolete, and end of life assets.

UAB accomplishes this by using its unique ability to lower project costs, and by maximizing the surplus asset recovery value, all while maintaining a high level of quality and safety awareness. Each project is analyzed using our shared revenue approach. The asset recovery value and the project cost are compared, and the difference is shared between the Client and UAB when possible.

UAB environmental policies and procedures have been reviewed and approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection

“SAFETY IS JOB ONE”
